- Breakfast at the Norwood's -
I love my neighborhood so much. It's the kind of community every new home owner hopes to be a part of, a place where good neighbors sprout into great friends. Sandrè and Stephanie moved into our neighborhood over four years ago pregnant with their fist child. Since then, they expanded their clan and have become one of our closest family friends, or neighbor-friends as I call it. One afternoon I was chatting with them about their upcoming weekend and asked what's on the agenda. Sandrè mentioned one of his favorite things to do on a Saturday is cook breakfast with his girls; it's become a tradition. He said it's one of the few times throughout their week where they can reconnect as a family. How sweet is that!? I immediately knew this tradition needed to be documented. I began talking to them about what a lifestyle photo session looked like and explained the rules...no posing, real moments and authentic connections. So a few Saturday's ago, I received my invitation to their breakfast table. The morning of, I arrived early and as I was setting up my camera, Tatum surprised me with hers. She thumbed through her library of photos and showed me her favorites as Mom and Dad setup the kitchen. Once the cooking began it was like they were pro's. I can promise you this, Saturday morning breakfast at the Norwood house does not disappoint. 5 stars all around!
