 - 15726 is the new Bella Couture -

Meet Emily. She is a mother of three, business owner of two and friend to many. She opened her doors at Bella Couture Parlor in December of 2012 and now shares ownership with her good friend and co-worker, Heather. These ladies have been busy bee's with their recent move across the street to their new location in downtown Duvall, WA. Below is a photo of the building before Emily and her crew remodeled. Emily's vision was to paint the exterior with neutral tones, rip up the carpeting to reveal the cement flooring and add shiplap to the walls. The wooden beams on the interior were in great shape so she left those untouched, but everything else needed to be remodeled.

Some people might look at a remodel project like this and panic, but remodeling, designing and recreating is truly Emily's passion and second business (check out her Facebook page, Creating Happy Spaces. I'm in love with her hand-painted clocks). While remodeling and decorating can be fun, remodeling and moving within a month can be super stressful. The new building was secured on September 1st; renovated, remodeled, decorated and reopened by October 1st. This labor of love was a family affair and all hands were on deck. Her husband worked on the flooring, framing of the back room and shiplap. Heather's mom painted the exterior and interior with the colors Emily provided while Heather's husband installed all of the shampoo sinks. I can tell you this, I am so impressed with Emily's vision and newest happy space her and the crew created. The salon is offering a variety of services and is open for business. I highly recommend paying them a visit.
